Mission Statement:

Estes Valley Investment in Childhood Success works to promote and support quality early care and education for all children in the Estes Valley; and to support parents as their children's first and best teachers.

Estes Valley Investment in Childhood Success (EVICS) provides a full array of services to support parents and early childhood professionals.

Services include:

  • Childcare/Preschool information and referrals
  • Childcare Scholarship Program for lower income families
  • Training and professional development for licensed childcare providers
  • Parent Education classes and seminars
  • Parents as Teachers Program

There are 4 primary goals of the EVICS Program:

  • To increase family access to quality early childhood care and education resources and services.
  • To provide training, resources and support to community Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers, based on established best practices.
  • To provide support to parents through educational opportunities that strengthen parenting skills and promote school readiness.
  • And, to increase community awareness of and investment in early childhood needs and services.
Goals & Outcomes:

Our goal is to raise $20,000 for our Childcare Scholarship Fund – and increase access to childcare and preschool services for our Mountain Strong kids!

Studies show that when children have consistent and reliable access to quality care, parents are able to be present and productive at work, and children are prepared to enter school ready to learn.

Many flood impacted families are still recovering financially, and unable to pay the full cost of childcare.  Your help will provide a child with a safe, consistent early learning environment, while parents continue working to get back on their feet.

"Thank you so much for all of your information. We found a provider for our children and she's great. It's so helpful that there is a program like this here in Estes Park."

"Our donors demonstrates the importance of community investment in early childhood resources and development. Investing early saves communities money down the road. This significant donation will help us do so much more to retain young families in our community and provide them with the support they need to be successful. We can’t thank our donors enough!”

"Our family joined the Parents as Teachers Program when we moved to town, and without it I don't know how we would have connected to other families or found the support we needed for our young child who has special needs."
