Address for Donations by Check:
600 S St Vrain Ave Estes Park, CO 80517
Mission Statement:

The Estes Park Learning Place, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to supporting and inspiring students of all ages in their educational pursuits, and to nurturing a life-long love of learning.

Estes Park Learning Place (EPLP) offers individualized, custom tutoring in a wide range of areas, from the basics to advanced subjects. ACT/SAT prep is available, as well as GED services. Students of all ages are welcome.

Not all students can afford our $40/hour tuition fee, but with the help of donations, EPLP provides sliding-scale scholarships for those students unable to afford these services.

Goals & Outcomes:

Our goals are to not only assist the student in the specific topic they are struggling with, but also to help them improve their study, comprehension, and organization skills. Students typically spend 6-8 weeks with a tutor. We provide a safe and constructive learning environment.

Outcome goals include improved grades, improved comprehension, and greater self-confidence.

"I have been coming to the Learning Place a couple of years and my grades have improved with reading, writing spelling and learning new vowel teams. I feel good, I feel happy and I feel smart!"

"My son has so much more confidence, and he truly believes in himself. He has really come to see that teachers and adults besides his parents, really do care."

"I got my GED after 6 years of hard work at the Learning Place. I now have the confidence to run my own business and am looking to take college classes on-line. This is a whole new beginning for me."
