Address for Donations by Check:
533 Big Thompson Ave., Suite 103 Estes Park, CO 80517
Mission Statement:

Estes Park Economic Development Corp. (EDC) plans for and promotes the economic development of the Estes Valley in ways that are compatible with those qualities that make Estes Park a unique mountain community. The Corporation exists to build a stronger and more broadly-based economy and tax base; to advise and assist existing local businesses to reach their full economic potential; and to attract new businesses that create primary jobs and new employment opportunities.

Estes Park EDC partners with the Larimer Small Business Development Center (Larimer SBDC), part of the Colorado SBDC network, to provide free consulting and low-cost workshops to local business owners and prospective entrepreneurs. Through that partnership, Estes Park EDC has assisted about 80 local businesses with the Recover Colorado grant and loan program for flood recovery.

During its first 10 months of operation, the organization has led efforts for planned improvements to broadband service in the Estes region, educated the public about the fiscal impacts of the sale of Stanley Lot 4 for a health and wellness center, and worked with entrepreneurs who want to open new businesses in Estes Park.

Goals & Outcomes:
  • Complete a full plan for the expansion and improvement of broadband.
  • To ensure support for low and moderate income residents, assist local businesses in obtaining grants and loans from the Recovery Colorado program.
  • Engage the community in a strategic planning process that will lead to a more diverse economy, support our local schools and improve job opportunities.
